The Hampstead Players 2018 Summer Production

Our summer production will be The Bacchae by Euripides, directed by Cara Pennock.

There are 15 speaking parts (3 Male (M), 8 Female (F) and 4 which can be played by either male or female (E)) with a variety of playing ages. A number of smaller roles may be doubled. Ideally there will be someone drumming in the play with the possibility of other music. If you have percussion experience but do not want to act please get in touch.

Auditions will take place on:

Sunday, 11th March 13:30 in the Crypt of Hampstead Parish Church

Tuesday, 13th March 19:30 in Hampstead Parish Church, and

Tuesday, 20th March at 19:30 in Hampstead Parish Church

(the doors to both the Crypt and Hampstead Parish Church are on the South Side of the Church).

Audition Preparation

Please prepare a brief Shakespearean monologue/poem of your choice.

Rehearsal Dates

The read-through is planned for the evening of Wednesday, 4th April.

Rehearsals will usually take place on Fridays, Sundays and Tuesdays at 7.30pm from Friday, 6th April.

There will be four performances on the 5th, 6th and 7th July with a matinee and evening performance on the 7th July.
