Pride & Prejudice tells the story of the five Bennet sisters (and their mother's search for suitable husbands for each of them) following the arrival into their neighbourhood of the eligible Mr Bingley and his friend Mr Darcy. It portrays the everyday life of a country gentleman's family in early 19th century England.

There are a number of roles for both men and women of all ages. A number of smaller roles may be doubled. In total we expect to cast between 15 and 20 actors.

The read-through is planned for Tuesday, 1st September and rehearsals will then usually take place on Fridays, Sundays and Tuesdays at 7.30pm.
